Harvey Steinberg and Stephen Burstein have a deservedly stellar reputation in the legal community, and their skills, connections, and results match the hype. Every Judge and Prosecutor in Colorado knows and respects them. I have seen them operate in the courtroom and conduct withering cross-examination, and it is honestly a sublime pleasure to observe their genius. I am a criminal defense lawyer myself; I know excellent lawyering, good lawyering, and average lawyering. It is the highest possible compliment for a lawyer to be hired by another lawyer, especially one who practices in the same specialty. Fellow lawyers can be difficult and challenging clients; opinionated and obsessive; but while I was a client, never once did I question Harvey’s or Steve’s performance and judgment. I previously suffered from alcoholism, now in active recovery, but unfortunately stumbled more than once and picked up various charges stemming from my alcohol problem. I repeatedly hired Harvey and Steve to work on my cases; and their performance, approach, work ethic, and most importantly, RESULTS, were always outstanding and even better than could be expected. And the prosecutors didn’t necessarily like me very much, since I myself went up against them in my own cases. But Harvey and Steve skillfully reversed that dynamic of prosecutor-hate with their humor, impeccable skills, and reputation, and defused some awful situations for me. Harvey and Steve fought for me and protected me, and gave me my life back, on multiple occasions over the years. I absolutely recommend Harvey and Steve to any person facing any level of criminal charges whatsoever, from the most serious to the most minor. They are the best, hands down!
